Christine Clearkin has recently completed an article about William Jupe after nearly a year's research. The article can be downloaded directly from bitternepark.info.
Mr Jupe was one of the
principal developers of Bitterne Park when the suburb was being
developed in the early years of last century.
He lived in Cobbett Road and had his builder's yard in McNaghten Road. The article comprises five pages of text and images followed by five pages of all
the building applications he made over a fifty year period, saved in
