A Society dedicated to the study and research of the history of Southampton
in general, but with particular reference to the City areas east of the River
Itchen, namely Bitterne, Bitterne Park, Harefield, Itchen, Merry Oak,
Midanbury, Peartree, Sholing, Thornhill, Townhill Park, Weston and Woolston. We meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month (except August and December) in the Bitterne United Reformed Church Hall (entrance in the Precinct, next to Bitterne Churchyard)
