Footsteps, Tot & Toddler Group - Church Of Ascension (9:30 am - 11:15 am)
Church of the Ascension on Mondays 9.30 -11.15 am

We are a friendly, welcoming group. Parents and carers are served tea or coffee and chat whilst their children play. We then have snack time for the children, a Bible story, craft time and song time before they go home tired and content.

Southampton Woodcraft Folk is a youth organisation for boys and girls. We are are interested in global and environmental issues and lots more. We also have camps. Donations Accepted At BP Food Bank (10:00 am - 3:00 pm)
You can donate much needed food & clothing at the Old Chemist at Bitterne Park Triangle, which becomes a food bank on Wednesdays 10am-3pm (check holiday periods). These are distributed across the network of Basics Banks as required. Tinned food, dry foods like pasta, jars of sauces etc especially welcomed. Bitterne Park Singers – Church Of The Ascension (6:15 pm - 7:15 pm)
The Bitterne Park Singers Community Choir is an informal, mixed-ability singing group open to anyone aged 16 and over. There is no need to audition, and no previous singing experience is required. Sessions run most weeks during school term-time and you are welcome to come along for a free taster to see whether it’s for you. The group normally meets at Bitterne Park School, but please note that it is currently meeting at the Church of the Ascension, 1 Thorold Road, SO18 1HZ while building work to the school is being completed.

The Songbird Sings Christmas – The Songbird (6:00 pm - 9:30 pm)
A cosy, festive, community evening with candles, a choir performance and singalong carols for all at The Songbird Ice Cream Café and Creative Space, 23 Manor Farm Road, Bitterne Park, SO18 1NN.

The evening will provide an opportunity to take time out from Christmas shopping and spend a relaxing evening with friends and family at what can be a stressful time. There will be two sittings available, from 6 -7.30 pm and from 8 - 9.30pm.

Tickets will cost £6.50 per adult and £4.00 per child – family tickets can be purchased for £18.00. The adult tickets will include a glass of mulled wine, a bottle of beer or a hot drink, a mince pie and a gift bag; children’s tickets will include a mini milkshake with cream and smarties, a Christmas cookie and a gift bag.
