woman and child readingFed up with winter? Why not pop along to your local library, and borrow some different books, plan a trip away - or just let your mind take a trip somewhere exotic by getting lost in an exciting story.

You can even order books, CDs and DVDs online from the library service, for collection at your local branch, which is on Cobbett Road.

Not only can a visit to our lovely art deco library cheer you up - it also helps it stay well used at the same time (and we all know that lending figures are often used as a measure of a library's performance....)

Monday 9.30am - 7pm
Tuesday Closed
Wednesday 10am - 5pm
Thursday Closed
Friday 9.30am - 7pm
Saturday 9.30am - 1pm

Don't forget to check out the groups that run at Cobbett Road Library too! Art groups, toddler group, Tai Chi, and many more....

Keep those lending figures up!!!! Especially with the budget looming in February, we need to show we are serious about keeping our library safe.
