Flybe jetCapacity from Bournemouth and Southampton airports has been slashed by 236,000 seats in the last year, but BAA still predicts about three million passengers will using Southampton Airport each year by 2015 and six million annually by 2030, according to this BBC report.

Good news

This is the first good news to come out of the airport for a long time. Airport growth will negate all the other measures to combat climate change. Good luck to all those currently preparing for direct action if Heathrow expansion is given approval.
