Friends and apple fans will be there from 10.30am to 12.30pm sharing and swapping apples, drinking apple juice, and sampling apple cake and crab apple jelly - juice or cake only 50p each.
Children’s fun sheets and a book to record apple trees in local gardens will also be provided. From an idea by Common Ground, apple day has taken place in orchards, gardens and museums since 1990 and has become a tradition in many counties - and now it's our turn to take part in the fun.
