Four candidates have been nominated to contest the Southampton City Council by-election in the Bitterne Park Ward on Thursday September 15. The election has been caused by the resignation of former Councillor Nigel Impey.

Nominations have now closed, and the four candidates who have been nominated are:

BRAINSBY, Michael Christopher. The Labour Party Candidate

COMBES, Clifford Alan. The Conservative Party Candidate

COX, Joseph William. Green Party

WORK, Anne Mary Patricia. Liberal Democrats

Applications to vote by post or proxy must be received by the Returning Officer by 5pm Wednesday 7th September.

Polling hours on 15 September are from 8 am to 9 pm.
