Labour launching campaign to win Itchen

southampton itchen map wikimediaLabour holds a rally and march in Bitterne on Saturday (Dec 1) to mark the launch of their bid to win back the Southampton Itchen seat – one of the country’s most marginal, which includes Bitterne Park.

Conservative Royston Smith beat Letts to the seat by 31 votes at the last general election in June 2017.

According to the event page on Facebook, the rally starts at 10.45am from the West End Road end of Bitterne Precinct, and all are welcome. Aaron Bastani, co-founder and senior editor at Novara Media, will be one of the speakers.
