end of christmas tree 5 under cc2 by Ann OroSouthampton City Council says it will be collecting real Christmas trees from the kerbside from January 8 for two weeks.

Trees should be left at the edge of your property, and not "blocking the highway", on your revised general waste collection day; you can look up dates on the council's website here.

The council says it can't return to collect any trees not put out in time.

However those signed up to the garden waste scheme can put their tree in their garden waste bin, and they can also be taken to  the Household Waste Recycling Centre (shake off any soil).
