defibrillator-809448 640 pixabayThere's a meeting on Tuesday (Nov 14) for those interested in getting a defibrillator for St Denys.

According to the British Heart Foundation, "A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart through the chest wall to someone who is in cardiac arrest. This high energy shock is called defibrillation, and it's an essential life saving step in the chain of survival."

Some funds have reportedly already been raised, and a space for the defibrillator identified. Now the intention is to set up a more formal group to apply for lottery funding.

The meeting is at 7pm at the South Western Arms, SO17 2HW.
