Between 4.40pm and 4.50pm on Wednesday October 11, a man entered the newsagent on Manor Farm Road, selected items from the shelf, and took them to the till.

When the cashier opened the till, the man leaned over and pushed her back whilst grabbing a quantity of cash.

Around £200 was taken.

The man then left the store, and left the area on a bike.

Police want to hear from anyone who can identify the man in CCTV footage, which you can view here, or who witnessed the incident.

“Do you know the man in the CCTV footage? We would like to speak with him in connection with this incident. Additionally, if you witnessed the incident then please give us a call,” said PC Maria Firth.

If you have information you can contact the police by phoning 101 quoting reference 44170395194, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
