More food waste dumped in Riverside Park PDF Print E-mail

20170829 083630Following similar incidents earlier in the year, there’s been another instance of food waste being dumped at the Cobden Bridge end of Riverside Park.

 

We took these pictures on Tuesday (Aug 29) at around 8.30am after a Twitter tipoff. It’s thought that the food wasn’t there on the preceding bank holiday Monday.

Following similar incidents in April and May, the owners of both Triangle fish and chip shops told us they'd been accused of the outbreaks by members of the public, but they were nothing to do with them.

Both questioned why they would dump food when they said they paid for commercial waste services.
