Flybe launches new connections using Southampton as hub PDF Print E-mail

airport departure boardRegional airline Flybe has launched what it describes as a “new weekend leisure hub” as part of its 2017 summer schedule, making it possible for passengers from eight UK departure points to travel to 12 popular European destinations via Southampton Airport.

 

Passengers from Aberdeen, Belfast, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle “will be able to seamlessly connect through Southampton” to destinations in regional France and Italy on Saturdays and Sundays.

Dave Lees, Southampton Airport’s managing director, said: “It is great that Southampton Airport is now a weekend leisure hub for Flybe which allows the rest of the UK to enjoy a ‘breeze through’ experience en route to their holiday destination. The airport prides itself on being fast, easy and friendly and is delighted that it can now help even more passengers reach summer sun from their local airport.”
