McCarthy and Stone retirement flats Southampton It looks like things are really getting going at the McCarthy and Stone site by Cobden Bridge, where 51 one- and two-bedroom retirement apartments are being been built.

This was the view from the bridge on Thursday lunchtime (Nov 3). The company is responsible for building and selling more than 70% of the UK’s owner-occupied retirement housing each year, according to Wikipedia.
