Following a March meeting in St Denys organised by the Green Party about traffic issues, a petition's now been launched calling on Southampton council to “urgently initiate a full traffic management survey” of the area.

As reported, around 40 people attended the weekday evening meeting at St Denys Community Centre to discuss a range of traffic concerns, including speeding, dangerous parking and junctions, traffic light sequencing and more.
And some signed up at the meeting to take action on speeding by establishing a community SpeedWatch scheme.
The petition calls on the council to look at residents' ideas, such as improved road calming measures.
The petition is here. It's publicised on the local Green Party website.
