Police say that, while not a huge problem, there have been a couple of incidents where youths have been forced to hand over their pushbikes, a couple of assaults and some verbal anti-social behaviour towards members of the public.
A stolen motorbike has also been hidden in bushes there recently, and police are asking people to be vigilant.
The decision to set the area as a community priority was apparently made at a community tasking and co-ordinating group meeting (CTCG) following public consultation and analysis of police reports.
Communtiy priorities are reviewed and potentially changed every three months based on surveys with the public.
