New secondary school: first consultation closing

expand bitterne park school sign2The council’s first consultation over plans to build a completely new school at Bitterne Park secondary draws to a close on Monday, November 10.

In October we reported that Bitterne Park School hopes to move into completely new £20 million buildings in about 2018, to be constructed on its current site. The idea is that when the new school has been built, the current buildings will be demolished and replaced with new playing fields.

For more details of the plan and consultation, see our earlier story.
