Friends of Riverside Park, a group which helps to maintain and improve the Park working with the city council, is looking for help with activities, and new members.

Friends of Riverside Park aim to:
- maintain and improve the environment of Riverside Park
- promote wider use of the park
- protect and promote its natural beauty and wildlife
- help make it a clean, safe and healthy place
- secure funds to improve it
- ensure community-based involvement in the future of the Park
The group also organises monthly litter picks on the first Saturday of the month, meeting at 10am at the sports pavilion – all are welcome to hep.
