Flybe has announced two new routes, to Galway and Nice, bringing the total number flights it offers from Southampton to 34.
Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer, Flybe commented:

the growth of regional air travel across the UK.”
Meanwhile Airport Consultative Committee member for Bitterne Park Residents' Association, Mary Finch, urged local residents to “keep up the noise about airport expansion” by lobbying councillors, MPs, airlines, planners and BAA, when she spoke at the Association's AGM on September 20.
