Southampton City Council’s fostering team is holding an information day on Thursday, November 28 at Central Library from 10am until 5pm, as part of a drive to encourage more people to consider becoming foster carers.

Prospective carers will have the chance to talk to the team about what it takes to provide a foster home, as well as to carers about their experiences. The team is encouraging people to pop along on Thursday for an informal, no-obligation chat to find out about the different types of fostering placements, training and financial support available.
