Teacher’s laptop stolen from Bitterne Park School

CCTV_bitterne_park_schoolPolice have released a CCTV image of two men they need to identify in connection with an investigation into the theft of a laptop at the sports hall of Bitterne Park Secondary School.

At about 5.15pm Wednesday, November 7, the pair entered the unattended sports hall lobby.  Shortly afterwards they left the school site via the Copsewood Road exit and turned right into the street.

It was at about this time that a teacher’s Acer extensa S230E laptop, which had been left under one of the desks, was stolen.

Bitterne PC Sophie Hill said police are seeking the identity of the two men in the CCTV still.

“If you think you know either of these men, or if you have any idea who may be responsible for the theft, please contact the police as soon as possible,” she said.

Anyone with information can contact PC Hill at Bitterne on 101 or ring the anonymous Crimestoppers charity line on 0800 555 111.
