Free live music in Bitterne Park

posterThe bright lights of Sofa City Band Collective will be shining at the Bitterne Park Hotel on Friday, April 27, as  Southampton’s hardest working band The Flying Alexanders host ‘Once Upon a Time in The Triangle’ – a free night of live music.

Joining them on stage will be Bitterne Park favourites (and hosts of our own recent live podcast) The Spiraltones, as well as the spectacularly beautiful Accrington Stanley.

As Accrington Stanley’s website proudly states: “Once again those cheeky SOFA CITY riders burst through the saloon doors of the BITTERNE PARK HOTEL, with a killer line-up to rock the gentlefolk of Midanbury. THE FLYING ALEXANDERS? THE SPIRALTONES? ACCRINGTON STANLEY? … Sheriff you are spoiling us...”

Sofa City Band Collective are pleased and proud to be revisiting the Bitterne Park Hotel after their stunningly successful debut back in February that saw The Alexanders, LoFi Poet and Radioactive Bones bring their unique stylings to the BPH. Fun sure was the winner that night, setting the bar high for all of those that follow….

Bitterne Park born singer from The Flying Alexanders said: “This maybe not your usual BPH event but Sofa City bring a good night out wherever they go…….. all the bands love playing here and are pleased to be able to provide a night out for FREE in these difficult times….. but you’ll have to make sure you get down there early to book your place near the front….. you’re not going to want to miss one second of this………”
