And we'd like to do more: more in-depth coverage of local issues; more local history coverage; and more audio – and perhaps even video – pieces. But putting these together takes an enormous investment of time. We all know that ‘times are hard’, but if you would like to support us through a one-off donation or a regular voluntary 'subscription' from as low as £1 a month, this will certainly help. And hopefully it will also enable us to continue to offer independent coverage about issues affecting the local areas. How to subscribe
You can use a credit or debit card – you don't need to have a PayPal account, but if you do have one you can use it if you want to.
How to donate Alternatively you can make a one-off donation of any amount you choose using the following button. Our PayPal account is in the name of Guy Phillips Creative Media. If you prefer to send a cheque, pay by bank transfer or standing order, that’s great too: just drop us a line or give us a ring for our details. Many, many thanks for your support! Other ways you can help Advertise If you run a business or know someone who does, then how about advertising on the sites? Our readership is currently rocketing, so it’s a good way to get in front of a local audience and show support of a community initiative. Click here to contact us and find out more. (Actually just mentioning our sites to local businesses also helps raise our profile enormously.) Shop with us We support local shops, and would encourage you to do the same while there’s still time. But if you can’t get what you need locally and have decided to shop online, please use our links if you can: just hover over the ‘shop’ menu to jump to online retailers like Amazon, John Lewis, Dell and many others, who will send a small percentage of every sale our way, at no extra cost to you.
