The council said that the site had been vacated after a ‘Direction to Leave’ was served by council officers on the preceding Friday (April 19).

That followed statutory welfare checks.

The “incursion” was first noted by the authority in an update dated April 18.

It’s understood that “tree loppings” were left behind at the scene, and while rubbish bags were used by those involved, it’s thought foxes then spread the contents around.
