Artist Ann Ridley with the first part of her Triangle work
Portswood artist Ann Ridley became a familiar sight when she drew the entire length of Portswood Broadway over the space of four months in 2006. She is at it again, and can currently be spotted, pen in hand, in Bitterne Triangle. Ann hopes to display the finished piece this summer.
We hope to follow her progress. Meanwhile click the play button below to hear Ann talking about her project.

Hope that you capture the lean of the tower, before it slides into the Itchen! I would like to see your work for nostalgia's sake as I left Bitterne Park some fifty years ago. Any chance of putting it on this site? thanks

Maybe! written by Editor,

The problem is, if it's anything like the final Portswood work Ann displayed in the library, it is likely to be very big! We may, however, be able to include a photo to show part of the work in progress at some point - we'll chat to Ann about it.

I am interested in viewing Ann's work and unfortunately missed the opportunity when it was displayed at Cobbett Road Library. Please can someone advise me if I may contact Ann Ridley directly to enquire about this or if there are further plans to display the work in the future? Thank you
